SOURCE: Simon Marshall "s.w.marshall@bham.ac.uk"
Time:
July 19, 1997

Place:
Mason Hall, University of Birmingham, UK

Theme:
Urban Form. The conference is being organised by the 'Urban Morphology Research Group' on behalf of ISUF and the Historical Geography and Urban Geography Research Groups of the Royal Geographical Society with the Intitute of British Geographers.

Particular aspects:
A new Researcher's Forum is planned as one of the conference sessions. This will provide:

  • a chance for those relatively new to research to meet and network with researchers in related topics in a specifically tailored environment
  • an experience for postgraduates of presenting at the initial stages of their research
  • an opportunity for presentations of proposed, preliminary or completed research findings

The Forum is not restricted solely to postgraduates, but may also be of interest to those 'new' to research in a broader sense. Non presenting paricipants and first time conference delegates are also warmly encouraged to attend.
