Architectural Anthropology: Semantic architecture of the fibroconstructive type traditionally built in Japanese agrarian villages in the framework of nuclear territorial demarcation rites. The bundled reed part at the top stands for the harmony of opposites (Yin Yang). The capital of the free standing pillar represents the sun (nichirin). (see Egenter, 1982).
